Responsibilities of the Street Department include the following:

• Maintaining City property, including:
  • Paved streets
  • Paved alleys
  • Unpaved alleys
  • Drainageways
  • Traffic control devices
  • Information signs
• Street sweeping
• Mowing of right of ways and City-owned lots
• Weed control
